In his free time, Clarence enjoys sports, helping children set career goals, teaching Sunday School, and spending time with his wife and two children. He understands the importance of developing “Number Sense” and is proud to bring the Mathnasium Method to your children in South Windsor and other nearby communities in Connecticut. This fundamental belief and desire to help children exceed in math inspired him to open a Mathnasium Learning Center. He believes that mathematical thinking is the foundation for not only the science, technology and engineering fields, but also many fields in liberal arts. His fundamental belief is that children can succeed in math when they are encouraged and math is presented in a way that makes sense to them. Having this business experience allowed him to show kids how math is applied not only in the real world, but to many different professions. For the past 20 years while working in the insurance industry, he tutored kids in elementary, middle and high school math.Ĭlarence spent the first 25 years of his career applying his passion for math in the areas of underwriting, finance and market research. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Penn State and a Master’s of Science in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
